ArteVisione 2023 • The Finalists
The five selected finalists for ArteVisione 2023 are: Claudio Beorchia, Martin Errichiello, Eleonora Luccarini, Beatrice Marchi, and Federico Pozuelo.
They will have the chance to participate in an intensive six-day workshop – from 27 November to 2 December 2023 – hosted by Careof at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, with lectures, collective seminars, and one-to-one meetings with internationally renowned artists and audiovisual professionals.
They will work with Shireen Seno, film-maker, founder of Los Otros (Manila), and visiting professor at ArteVisione 2023; Andrea Bellini, director of the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève and artistic director of Biennale de l’Image en Mouvement in Geneva; Andreas Bertman, producer and curator at Filmform, Stockholm; Eva Sangiorgi, director of Viennale, Vienna; and Maria Paola Zedda, artistic director at ZEIT, Cagliari / Milan.
The network of partners involved in the project will allow the artists to present their research to several international institutions, among which Argos (Brussels), FIDMarseille (Marseille), SODA (Manchester), Circuit (Wellington).
Thanks to the support of Fondazione AEM, Careof has included among the five selected finalists of the 2023 edition one project focused on the investigation of themes such as energy sustainability, ecological transition, and access to energy and resources.
