Open call ArteVisione 2023

Registration is now open to take part in ArteVisione 2023, Careof's annual project launched in 2011 with the aim of supporting, producing and promoting the most innovative research within the field of moving image, developed through a training period and the production of new film works.The 2023 edition will be welcoming visiting professors Shireen Seno and John Torres, two of the most influential filmmakers of the Filipino art scene.Participation is free and open to Italian artists or artists residing in Italy who can apply with a single-channel video project, unpublished or in the early stages of ideation, with no limits of genre, language or theme.Five selected finalists will have the chance to take part in a 6-day workshop - from 28 November to 3 December 2023 - hosted by Careof, inside the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, with lectures, collective seminars, and one-to-one meetings with internationally renowned artists and professionals in the audiovisual field.At the end of the workshop, the winning project will be awarded with a gross prize of 8,000 euros to support the production.
