Everybody Knows – Lo sanno tutti features works by professional artists as well as groups or individual non-professional artists from Melbourne, Australia. The project includes an exhibition of paintings, installations, video performances, and the publication of the contemporary art magazine Artfan, which, for this occasion, is focused on the artists featured in the exhibition and on certain aspects of Italian art—thus becoming a sort of catalogue for the show.
Artfan (founded in 1993) invites art critics, writers, artists, and individuals not professionally involved in the art world to contribute their reflections, and in fact publishes four different reviews of each exhibition.
A Constructed World is a collective founded in Melbourne in 1990, directed by Geoff Lowe and Jacqueline Riva. It proposes projects and organizes exhibitions that involve the public in the creation of contemporary artworks. A Constructed World’s projects have been presented at the 26th São Paulo Biennial in 1998, at the first Gwangju Biennale in South Korea in 1995, and in numerous other exhibitions across Australia and Asia.
