From 10.11 to 20.11.2009
Careof presents Videozero, a selection of films and videos created by students from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, from the History of Cinema and Video course taught by Francesco Ballo.
Works by: Federico Chiari, Giulia De Marinis, Ramona Linzola, Andrea Perna, Ilaria Pezone, Valeria Proserpio, Sergio Racanati, and Daniele Urgo.
Since 1999, Videozero—now in its eleventh edition—has given visibility to the work of some of the most interesting artists from the Academy, ranging from narrative works to music videos, from politically charged creations to socially oriented ones, from documentary videos to abstract works. The exhibition, on view at DOCVA – Documentation Center for Visual Arts – until November 20, features works by Federico Chiari, Giulia De Marinis, Ramona Linzola, Andrea Perna, Ilaria Pezone, Valeria Proserpio, Sergio Racanati, and Daniele Urgo.
Previous editions of Videozero have been presented at important film events such as the Torino Film Festival, Milano Film Festival, PAC di Milano, Spazio Lima di Milano, and Strade del Cinema di Aosta.
