Il Raccolto d’autunno è stato abbondante in 2009 featured a selection of some of the most promising artists from the Archivio DOCVA of Careof and Viafarini. There were thirteen.
A year later, Santo Tolone was in New York on a scholarship. Loredana di Lillo will soon reach the same destination, thanks to another residency program. The names of Cleo Fariselli and Renato Leotta have circulated variably in alternative, institutional, and commercial contexts.
Some of them have also found a gallery: Giovanni Oberti and Manuel Scano, for example. Others continue to complete their training, like Emily Verla Bovino who is now in San Diego for a PhD. Meanwhile, Matteo Rosa, long resident in Sweden, has confirmed his ties to Italy by participating in the workshop of the Fondazione Spinola Banna per l’Arte.
The exhibition received significant press coverage. Flash Art in various ways met a good number of the artists from Il Raccolto. Talent Hunter, a column by Daniele Perra on Exibart, also covered some of them. From November 30, 2010 to January 29, 2011, Careof and Viafarini renew the appointment with Il Raccolto d’autunno continues to be abundant.
To one of the participating artists, Gemmo Spa will offer a scholarship for a three-month residency period.
