Careof is..
From 25.06 to 29.06.2014
in collaboration with
MADA, Monash University Art Design and Architecture, Melbourne e Prato
FDV Residency hosts twenty-five students from the Communication Design course at Monash University in Melbourne, accompanied by lecturer Warren Taylor, to participate in the graphic design workshop curated by the collective AUT.
Careof is... took place at the DOCVA spaces, focusing on Careof’s graphic identity to design possible visual developments.
After an initial conversation about the history, mission, and activities of the association with the staff and some professionals collaborating with Careof, the students were divided into working groups that evaluated and reinterpreted Careof’s image by adapting it through specific communication channels: from social networks to the website; from posters to bookmarks.
All the collected data were analyzed collectively to create a visual identity more consistent with the current needs of the association and its users.
The final works were exhibited in a show at the Careof exhibition space, which opened on Saturday, June 29.
