Open call ArteVisione 2025

Applications are now open to participate in ArteVisione 2025, the annual project by Careof launched in 2011 with the aim of supporting the artistic scene in Italy, offering artist_ opportunities for personal and professional growth through a training program and the production of new film works.

The 2025 edition will feature visiting professor Elisa Giardina Papa (Sant’Ignazio, Sicily, 1979; lives and works between New York and Sant’Ignazio in Sicily), an artist whose practice investigates forgotten stories and myths, reworking historical and social archives into video and film works that question socio-cultural constructs and established narratives.

Participation is free of charge and open to Italian artist or artist residing in Italy, who may apply with a single-channel video project, unpublished or in the early stages of development, with no restrictions of genre, language, or theme.

The selected finalist will have the opportunity to take part in a 4-day workshop – from December 9 to December 12, 2025 – hosted by Careof at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, with lectures, collective seminars, and one-to-one meetings with internationally renowned artist and professionals in the audiovisual field.

Following the training program and an additional selection process, the 2025 edition will award a prize of €8,000 gross in support of the production of one of the 5 finalist projects.
