Marco Bertasi + Angiola Gatti + Nazzareno Guglielmi
07/05/1989
The artists present a series of works that reflect constructive processes, though open to every possibility of interaction.
A subtle play of relationships exists between the parts: the awareness of acting within a disturbed balance leads the artist to question themselves and to take on moral stances in their work.
Marco Bertasi, with small-format pieces, disrupts space by constructing minute marks, compelling the viewer to draw as close as possible to the work in order to discover the nuances, the delicate resonances of color, and the scattered signs.
Angiola Gatti inverts this perspective and invites us to keep a distance from the work: large formats, canvases traversed by the repetition of blacks.
Nazzareno Guglielmi presents sculptural works: iron structures, arranged at the edge of balance, that organize space.
