IPER Esterno interno
IPER Esterno interno tells us how different languages and methods can cohabit in a space and, progressing in parallel ways, flow into one narrative that still takes various techniques in consideration: photography, video, sculpture. The exhibition’s vision spontaneously finds its definition. Two contrasting threads unravel, joined by the medians that pass and create links between them. On the one side, hyper-aestheticization; on the other, an inner and oneiric world full of personal atmospheres, which allow us to delve into another world. The first perspective is aesthetical: ironical posters about a culture in renewal, glitter concealing eyes that watch the viewer, a weaving of relationships in the form of pop icons. Bit by bit, the works get more personal and conceal deeper narratives about mistreated women, unknown territories of the South of Italy, unsettling portraits of unrecognizable characters. All of which reaches a climax in the deepest intimacy arising from the public’s immersion into undefinable times and places that still summon ancestral and powerful scenarios, directly in one’s guts. In that world, the public is invited to notice particulars, get closer, and discover the tiniest details.
