Careof hosts "Denoise", a collective exhibition of the Master in Visual Arts for the Digital Age at Istituto Europeo di design in Milan, which gathers a selection of original works made during several classes throughout the course year and curated for this occasion by professor Simone Santilli and tutor Lucia Cristiani. The set-up is enhanced by a group work: a video-mapping combining volumes, surfaces, and sounds on multiple narrative levels curated by Karmachina.

Denoise is a process of reduction or removal of noise from a signal, cleansing it from potential distortions. In a broader sense, the title is an invitation to reflect on the changes that are reshaping the planet and our existence in this world. The dizzying pace of technological developments and the equally fast progression of climate crisis reverberate in every aspect of our life, generating new forms of coexistence and conflict. Noise can therefore take on the shape of the focus fragmentation imposed on the consumers of cognitive-cultural capitalism, but it can also become the raw material on which algorithms of different levels work, from the ones that filter online content to those of Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, noise in itself isn't positive or negative, but it's part of creating a meaning, an expression of the range of possibilities. In the exhibition, seven installations and performances take shape, and the interaction with new technologies becomes a driving force of reflection in dialogue with history, tales, society, language, memory, childhood and illness.
